Job summary

Patriots Glen is seeking a part-time weekend Cook to join our assisted living community in Bellevue, WA. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary needs and work with a caring team.

Weekend schedule, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, with pay $23.00–$26.00 hourly DOE. Washington State Food Handler’s Permit and CPR/First Aid are required; at least 1 year of experience preferred.

This role offers opportunities to grow skills within the Careage network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a food service setting.
• CPR/First Aid knowledge or certification preferred.
• Washington State Food Handler’s Permit required (can be obtained after hire).
• Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh meals based on daily menus and residents’ dietary needs.
• Interact with residents to gather feedback on meals.
• Keep kitchen clean, organized, and stocked; rotate and store food safely.
• Maintain temperature controls and follow sanitation practices.
• Support teammates to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
