Job summary

Great Western Dining Service at Allen Community College in Kansas is hiring a skilled Cook to prepare meals and follow established recipes. The role requires moving around the kitchen, multitasking, and ability to work with various ingredients and cooking techniques.

You will set up workstations, prep ingredients, portion and cook food for different meal periods or events, and ensure a clean, sanitary kitchen in line with HACCP policies. Strong teamwork and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as cook.

• Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment.

They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is important.
