Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.).
• Prepare, portion, cook food items for various meal periods or special events.
• Ability to follow basic recipes and production information.
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Follow all company HACCP and safety policies.

Cook

Great Western Dining Service at our Howard College location is looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals. An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions, be deft in moving around the kitchen, and proficient in multi‑tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is important.

Part Time or Full Time

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
