Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY USA INC is seeking an OPD Condenser Bushing Assembler for the Weekend - Days shift in Alamo, Tennessee. You will manufacture condenser bushings and follow detailed safety and assembly procedures to meet specifications and customer requirements.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED and about one year of manufacturing assembly experience with mechanical aptitude. You will work in a team, adhering to production schedules and PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• One year of experience in a manufacturing assembly setting with high mechanical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture condenser bushings according to procedures and specs.
• Read and interpret safety procedures, work instructions, and assembly drawings.
• Handle epoxy compounds, alcohols, mold releases, cleaners, adhesives, O-Rings, and machined components.
• Train on new equipment or processes in the O Plus Dry condenser bushing area.
• Maintain productivity by adhering to load plans and production schedules.
• Wear safety gear (steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, PAPR) as required and work in a team with minimal supervision.
