Job summary

Callahan Village in Roseburg, OR is seeking a Weekend Concierge/Receptionist to deliver friendly, professional service to residents and visitors. You’ll greet elders and families, answer calls, and support sales, marketing, and the business office with a can-do attitude.

You’ll help manage the lobby, receive packages, and coordinate with team members while upholding our values of goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun. This is a part-time weekend role.

Qualifications

• Kindness and desire to work with the elderly.
• Resourceful and strong problem-solver.
• Able to handle emotional or stressful situations.
• Organizational and follow-up skills; multi-priority management.
• Experience answering telephones or in a customer service role.
• Willing to learn and work in a team.
• Good English reading/writing/speaking with residents.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and take messages.
• Greet elders, families, visitors and team members in person and on the phone.
• Assist Life Enrichment, Marketing and accounting tasks when requested.
• Monitor entry area for a neat, inviting lobby.
• Receive/send packages and assist with questions as requested.
• Represent the community by modeling core values of goodness, loyalty, faith and fun.
