Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Appleton, WI seeks a Completions Liaison/Design Engineer for weekend shift to support aircraft outfitting, cabinetry, and wiring installations. You will work with Operations and Engineering to resolve production issues and drive design improvements on interiors for large cabin jets.

Responsibilities include reviewing engineering data, coordinating with other groups, and developing CAD data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering required.
• 5+ years in a technical discipline or 10+ years in multiple disciplines.
• Experience with aircraft interiors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and disposition of manufacturing issues related to material discrepancies, data, and electrical harnesses.
• Identify root causes of engineering errors and implement improvements.
• Keep Operations and Engineering informed of in-work issues affecting schedules.
• Coordinate with other groups to maintain design requirements.
• Create engineering data as needed.
