Job summary

Plascore Inc. in Zeeland, MI is hiring a Chemical Process Technician on the Weekend shift (Friday - Sunday). You will set up and manufacture adhesives, primers, cleaners, paints and coatings, work with chemical engineers on lab/pilot scale experiments, and prepare lab batches for R&D evaluation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong attention to detail, and mechanical inclination. You’ll calibrate meters, maintain records, and support process improvements while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Detail-oriented and mechanically inclined.
• Must be eligible to work on ITAR programs.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture adhesives, primers, cleaners, paints, coatings and chemical mixtures.
• Set up and operate manufacturing and laboratory equipment according to specifications.
• Prepare lab batches for R&D evaluation.
• Conduct lab experiments to optimize chemical processes and develop formulations.
• Record production and experimental data accurately.
• Calibrate pH and conductivity meters and monitor process specs.
