Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Weekend CNC Setup Machinist for a 3-day Fri–Sun schedule in Big Bend, WI. This direct-hire role offers up to $33/hr plus weekend premium, with 40-hour pay for 36 hours worked and a full benefits package.

You will independently set up CNC mills and turning centers, adjust tooling offsets, inspect parts, and ensure tight tolerances while adhering to GD&T. A stable work history and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience with at least 1 year of independent setups on CNC mills or lathes.
• Strong technical literacy in reading engineering blueprints, interpreting G&M codes, and applying GD&T concepts.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card residing within daily driving distance of Big Bend, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform Independent Setups: Execute complete, independent setups and operation on CNC mills and turning centers for complex precision components.
• Tooling & Offsets Management: Monitor tool wear, adjust tool page offsets, establish work holding, and maintain tight dimensional tolerances.
• Precision Quality Inspection: Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections using precision measuring hand tools, gauges, and inspection gear.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize Cell: Investigate and resolve setup deviations or mechanical issues to maintain consistent weekend production workflow.
• Blueprint & Technical Execution: Interpret complex engineering blueprints, apply G&M code adjustments, and strictly follow GD&T requirements.
• Maintain Cell Standards: Keep a clean, organized, safe, and 5S-compliant machining station.
