Job summary
KingRecruitingServices is seeking a Weekend CNC Setup Machinist for a 3-day weekend role in Wisconsin. The position offers base pay up to $33/hr plus weekend premium, with 36 hours paid at 40 hours, and full benefits.
Work Fri–Sun, 12-hour shifts in a climate-controlled precision shop serving aero, defense, and medical markets. The role requires 2+ years CNC machining experience and at least 1 year of independent setups on mills or lathes, reading blueprints, G&M codes, and GD&T.
Qualifications
- 2+ years CNC machining experience with at least 1 year of independent setups on CNC mills or lathes.
- Strong reading of blueprints, G-codes, and GD&T concepts.
- Willingness to work Fri–Sun weekend schedule (7:00 AM–7:00 PM).
- US work authorization and local commute to Big Bend, WI area.
Responsibilities
- Perform independent setups on CNC mills and turning centers for complex parts.
- Monitor tool wear, set offsets, and maintain tight tolerances.
- Inspect first-piece and in-process work with precision tools and gauges.
- Troubleshoot and optimize cell to sustain weekend production.
- Interpret engineering blueprints and apply GD&T requirements.
- Maintain a clean, 5S-compliant machining cell.
