Katalyst Systems Impact is seeking a dependable Laser Operator for the weekend shift in Jefferson, Iowa. The role involves set-up and operation of CNC tube and sheet laser cutting machines, with a focus on producing parts that meet customer quality requirements.

The position requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced shop. Weekend schedule is Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM to 6:30 PM, on-site with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with MIG welding in manufacturing or fabrication preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Welding certifications are a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass a hands-on weld test during the interview process.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate CNC tube and sheet laser cutting machines.
• Perform laser cutting operations and select proper cutting programs/fixtures.
• Establish proper stop location and adjust laser beam focal point.
• Make proper set-ups for cutting operations and perform maintenance as required.
• Perform dimensional inspections and report defects to supervisor.
• Operate a forklift as needed and support production.
• Contribute to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
