Job summary

Park Gardens Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Bronx County, New York is seeking enthusiastic CNAs to join weekend shifts. You will provide direct nursing care under supervision and support residents with daily living activities in a warm, professional environment.

Responsibilities include promoting hygiene, feeding residents, assisting with transfers, weighing patients, taking vital signs, and documenting observations. Part-time and Per Diem options available with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certificate.
• Experience in long-term care is a plus.
• Weekend availability for shifts.

• Ambulates and transports residents.
• Records and totals fluid intake and output.
• Weighs residents.
• Documents on flow sheets.
• Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
• Responds to call lights in a timely manner.
• Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
• Reports all observations & assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Makes beds and keeps resident’s units clean and in order.
• Prepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge.
