Job summary

Utopia Home Care in Hartford, CT is seeking Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for The Retreat in Hartford. The role involves hands-on care for clients at their homes, assisting with ADLs, bathing, dressing, and medication reminders. Weekend availability is required; full-time 32 hours/week, 2p-10p.

Fingerprinting and forms are part of the process. The employer covers fingerprinting costs; candidates must provide original CT Driver's License/State ID and Social

Qualifications

Must have a HHA or CNA certification and possess original certification documents from a state-approved training provider.
Ability to provide original documents for CT Driver's License/CT State ID and Social Security Card.
Documentation of a physical and PPD taken within the past 12 months or willingness to obtain them quickly.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on care for ADLs in clients' homes, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and reminders for medications.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and maintain clear, accurate notes.
Support seniors and clients with disabilities with dignity and respect.
