Job summary

Lake Forest Village by PureHealth in Denton, TX, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our compassionate care team. You will deliver quality patient care, assist with daily living activities, and document care in real time to support timely decisions.

This full-time role includes weekend double shifts (6:00am–10:00pm) with a $2.00 weekend differential and a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Successful completion of a state approved Nursing Assistant Certification course.
• Valid state CNA license.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and assist with physical care of patients including bathing, hygiene, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Real-time documentation of patient care and observations.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with licensed nurse.
• Assist in dining and feeding of residents and record intake.
• Transport patients to therapy appointments.
• Assist in activities and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Respond to call lights promptly and provide appropriate care.
• Conduct regular rounds to anticipate needs and ensure timely service.
• Maintain patient rights, report any abuse or violations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient rooms and environment.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and PPE use.
