Job summary

Open weekend positions include Saturday and Sunday with shifts from 7:00am–3:15pm, 3:00pm–11:15pm, and 11:00pm–7:15am. Prior NYS CNA certification and CPR are preferred, with LTC experience valued.

Qualifications

• Current certification in New York State Nurse Aide Registry (not expired).
• No findings or convictions of resident abuse or neglect on the Registry.
• One year long-term care experience and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living under licensed nurse supervision.
• Help with meals, toileting, hygiene, mobility, and routine care as directed.
• Maintain clean, orderly resident living areas and assist with admissions/discharges as needed.
• Observe changes in resident condition and report to the nurse in charge.
• Answer call lights promptly and assist with routine errands for the nursing unit.
