Job summary

Morris View Healthcare Center in Morristown, New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant Weekend Warrior to join our weekend team. You will provide direct patient care, assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, and support our residents with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or nursing education preferred
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with assistance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), vital signs, and basic nursing procedures
• Maintain accurate records of resident care and communication with nursing staff
• Assist with meal preparation and delivery, as well as providing hydration and snacks to residents
• Participate in services and activities designed to promote resident well-being and engagement
• Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families
