Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college/nursing education preferred.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift, transfer and reposition residents with assistance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including ADLs and vital signs.
• Maintain accurate records of resident care and communicate with nursing staff.
• Assist with meal prep, hydration, and snacks for residents.
• Participate in activities to promote resident well-being and engagement.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment with infection control practices.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families.
