Job summary

Scenic Living Communities is a continuing care retirement community in Iowa Falls, Iowa. We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team for weekend and regular shifts in a nursing home environment, providing direct, hands-on care to residents to promote their well-being.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to care plans, and maintaining residents’ privacy and dignity while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved CNA training program.
• Must have passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in the care plan.
• Completes documentation of resident care as assigned.
• Reports changes in resident’s condition immediately to the Charge Nurse.
• Attends facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned.
• Follows safety, infection control and privacy policies to provide quality care.
