Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West in Orinda, CA is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/CNA for one-on-one, 12-hour shift care. You will support clients with personal care, mobility, meals, and medication reminders in a home setting.

Ideal candidates are licensed CNAs or experienced caregivers with strong communication skills, reliability, and a client-centered approach. A driver’s license is preferred, and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification or verifiable caregiver experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance.
• Monitor and document client health status, reporting any changes to the care team.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safety.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Administer medication reminders and support medication management routines.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being.
