Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our Orinda, CA team for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 2pm–10pm). The role focuses on personal care, mobility assistance, medication reminders, meal support, and companionship in clients' homes.

Requirements include active CA CNA certification, weekend availability, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to pass a background check. CPR/First Aid is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active California CNA certification is required.
• Weekend availability (Sat & Sun, 2pm–10pm) is required.
• Strong communication and a compassionate, patient demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and document client health status and report changes to appropriate personnel
• Administer medication reminders and assist with daily medication routines
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe home environment

ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver CNA to join our team in Orinda, CA! This is a weekend position (Saturday & Sunday) from 2pm–10pm, perfect for a caring individual who wants to make a real difference in the lives of others. Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of California
• Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or a related caregiving setting preferred
• Availability to work weekends, Saturday and Sunday, 2pm–10pm
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
• Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
