Job summary

DayToDay Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide in-home care to clients in their residences within the Rocky Mount area. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, basic nursing care under supervision, and documenting care using EVV systems.

Candidates must be certified and possess strong communication skills and physical stamina. The position is based on availability, with no guaranteed hours, and includes travel within a defined service area.

Qualifications

• Must have DFS certification on file.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stand.
• Demonstrated empathy and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene care (bathing, shaving, hair and mouth care).
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Deliver basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary needs.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain documentation.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Complete tasks via EVV app or time sheets, showing dependability.
• Support client independence while respecting privacy and rights.
• Do not administer medications per Plan of Care.
