Avir Vista in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) who is also a state-licensed Certified Nursing Aide (CNA). The role supports licensed nurses, administers medications, and helps residents with daily living tasks.

Shifts include Saturdays and Sundays from 6am to 10pm. Candidates must read and follow care plans, maintain safety and infection control, and participate in ongoing training to ensure quality care.

Formación

• Must be CMA and CNA in good standing with the State.
• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Must be able to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other staff.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Must be capable of performing the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares, administers, and documents medications following accepted practices and regulations under supervision.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal assistance.
• Reads and follows daily care plans and reports changes in resident condition to the nurse in charge.
• Documents care provision on resident records and reports accidents or incidents.
• Follows safety, sanitation and infection control policies, including PPE usage.
• Attends orientation and required in-service education.
• Supports resident rights and maintains professional relationships with residents and visitors.
• Assists in admission, transfer and discharge of residents; participates in staff training as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
