Job summary

Memory Care Center at Emerald in Claremore, OK is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our weekend team. This full-time, hourly role focuses on accurate medication administration, resident monitoring, and maintaining a safe, compassionate environment for our residents in a skilled nursing setting.

As a weekend doubles CMA, you will earn Baylor pay while working 32 hours and being paid for 40.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. CMA certification as required by Oklahoma regulations.
• Experience: Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Certifications: CMA certification required by Oklahoma regulations.
• Communications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: Accurately administer prescribed medications per protocol and document accordingly.
• Resident Monitoring: Observe residents, document vital signs and reactions, and report changes to nursing staff.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain clean, organized medication areas and follow infection control procedures.
• Resident Support: Provide compassionate assistance and respect residents' needs and preferences.
• Communication: Coordinate with nurses, doctors, and families regarding care plans and changes.
• Documentation: Complete medication administration records and health observations per policy.
