Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Weekend Clinical Rehab Liaison to build referral relationships, manage a defined territory, and perform patient assessments. The role fits weekend 10-hour shifts or Fri-Mon options, with focus on face-to-face connections and admissions facilitation.

The ideal candidate has current clinical licensure, CPR, and 2+ years of healthcare experience; a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred, with CRRN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license and acceptable driving record according to policy.
• Current state professional clinical licensure and CPR certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Two+ years of clinical or healthcare tech experience preferred.
• One+ year in nurse liaison or healthcare sales preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends, and competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop census based on strategic goals in your territory.
• Cultivate strong relationships with providers and referral sources.
• Aid in streamlining the referral-to-admission process.
• Educate community, referral sources and physicians on hospital programs.
• Identify new opportunities using market analysis.
• Respond to and overcome admission barriers and follow up on admissions.
• Conduct in-services and professional presentations about services and outcomes.
