Sonora Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant I for the BUMC Phoenix area. The role involves assisting lab staff with specimen collection, receipt, and processing, and preparing samples for analysis.

Depending on certification, you may perform waived and limited moderate complexity testing in a supportive team environment. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and phlebotomy/CLA certification, with preferred completion of a lab assistant program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy/CLA certification is required by state regulations.
• Laboratory experience and/or completion of a lab assistant program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist technical lab staff with collection, receipt, and processing of specimens.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing.
• May perform waived or limited moderate complexity testing when qualified and allowed by CLIA.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
