Job summary

Malvern Treatment Centers is seeking a weekend Clinical Aide at our King Road location in Malvern, PA. This part-time role delivers direct patient care for adults with chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders under the treatment team’s guidance.

The position supports unit programming, daily living activities, and safety within the milieu. A high school diploma with relevant experience is required; CPR and de-escalation training are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in a mental health discipline from an accredited college or university.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with experience in a chemical dependency and/or mental health treatment setting.
• Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association) preferred
• Verbal De-escalation Training

Responsibilities

• Provide quality direct patient care to individuals with chemical dependency problems.
• Assist in direct care & management across all age ranges as directed by the treatment team.
• Assist with unit programming to facilitate the carryover of therapy issues and activities of daily living.
• Document significant interactions in the medical record and communicate issues to supervisors.
