Job summary

Complete Care in Wisconsin seeks a Weekend Charge Nurse to lead nursing care and unit operations on weekend shifts, supervising staff, managing admissions/discharges, and overseeing medications and treatments. You will respond to clinical needs to maintain high standards of care.

The role requires an active RN license in Wisconsin, weekend charge nurse experience, and CPR/BLS certification. Excellent clinical judgment and teamwork are essential for success in this weekend-only, part-time

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Wisconsin.
• Charge nurse experience required; leadership experience a plus.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, time management and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership: Supervise CNAs and nursing staff on duty to ensure compassionate, regulatory-compliant resident care.
• Medication & Treatment Administration: Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and physician orders accurately and timely.
• Resident Assessment & Care Planning: Assess resident conditions, record vitals, document progress notes, and update care plans as needed.
• Physician & Family Communication: Serve as the primary contact for attending physicians, families, and emergency services during weekend shifts.
• Emergency Response: Address change-of-condition events promptly and ensure proper documentation and protocols.

Role Overview

As a Weekend Charge Nurse, you will oversee nursing care and unit operations during weekend shifts. You will lead direct care staff, manage resident admissions/discharges, administer medications and treatments, and respond to clinical needs to maintain high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership: Supervise and guide CNAs and nursing staff on duty to ensure compassionate, regulatory-compliant resident care.

• Medication & Treatment Administration: Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and physician orders accurately and timely.

• Resident Assessment & Care Planning: Assess resident conditions, record vitals, document progress notes, and update care plans as needed.

• Physician & Family Communication: Serve as the primary contact for attending physicians, families, and emergency services during weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• License: Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Wisconsin.

• Experience: Charge nurse experience Required

• Prior nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) setting preferred; leadership experience is a plus.

• Certifications: Current CPR/BLS Certification required.

• Skills: Strong clinical judgment, communication, time management, and team leadership abilities.
