Edmond Health Care Center is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs/CMAs on Fridays and Saturdays 11-7. The role includes documenting vitals, administering medications, and coordinating with physicians to meet care plans while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The position requires an Oklahoma LPN license, at least one year in long-term care, and strong communication skills to educate residents and families.

Formación

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and licensed by the state of Oklahoma.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care environment is required.
• Diploma from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job is required.
• Must have excellent communication and teaching skills in both individual and group settings.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs/CMAs.
• Record vitals and maintain medical records.
• Administer medications following the 5 Rights of Medication Administration.
• Coordinate with physicians and families; communicate chart updates.
• Participate in QA program and regulatory surveys.
• Ensure infection control and PPE usage across shifts.
