Job summary

Charter Oak Home Care is seeking experienced caregivers (PCA, HHA, CNA) to join our team to support a female client needing full help with all ADLs, possibly a Hoyer lift transfer. Hours are Thursday-Monday 1pm-5pm, with flexible schedules across 4-12 hour shifts throughout the week.

You will implement care plans, provide personalized care, companionship, and assist with daily activities to enhance quality of life.

Qualifications

• Compassion and empathy are essential.
• Alzheimer's or Dementia experience is a plus.
• Ability to use good judgement and remain calm.
• Reliable and on time.
• Proof of eligibility to work in U.S. and able to pass a background check with references.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to the client in their home.
• Execute personalized weekly schedules and care plans.
• Provide companionship and ongoing social and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care activities including hygiene, mobility, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation.
• Keep safety and client enjoyment top of mind; provide transportation as needed.
• Document completion of tasks and report changes in the client’s condition.

We are looking for a caregiver to work with a female client who needs full help with all ADL's and potentially a Hoyer lift transfer. The hours are Thursday-Monday 1pm-5pm

Pay $18-$23/hour

We are seeking experienced caregivers (PCA, HHA, CNA) who are reliable, have a heart for service, and a passion to care for the older adults to join our team. If you are looking for an opportunity to design a flexible schedule, we have several current openings with clients. The hours vary from 4-12 hour shifts on all days of the week and our caregivers can design either a part time or full time schedule.

What You Do

You have the ultimate responsibility to help implement care plans that nurture older adults in mind and body. You will provide personalized care to clients assisting in scheduled activities as well as overall care management. Our hope is that you will treat your clients like family, going above and beyond to enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Supply personal companionship, remain actively engaged with each client by providing ongoing social & emotional support
• Assist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation

• Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed
• Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and report changes in the client’s condition
