Job summary

Right at Home Rhome Texas is seeking Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. You will help with personal care, meals, mobility, and companionship, focused on safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Pass a background check.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home.
• Performing housekeeping activities: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, dishes, laundry, bathroom.
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompanying client to errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing, Shaving, Dressing.
• Medication reminders.
• Assisting with range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care.
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles.

Education

High school graduate or GED certificate preferred

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home

• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
