Job summary
McKenney Home Care is seeking weekend caregivers, HHAs and CNAs to support clients in Sarasota and Charlotte County through our Venice office. You will provide non-medical home care, including personal care, companionship, mobility support, meal preparation, and light housekeeping, following each client’s care plan.
Ideal candidates have weekend availability and enjoy delivering one-on-one care in a client’s home.
Qualifications
- Weekend availability (Saturday and/or Sunday) required.
- Provide non-medical in-home care per care plan.
- Ability to follow caregiver instructions and communicate with clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and mobility support.
- Provide companionship and measure daily living activities.
- Assist with meal preparation and basic housekeeping.
- Follow care plans and document care provided.

McKenney Home Care is hiring weekend Caregivers, HHAs, and CNAs to support clients in Sarasota and Charlotte County through our Venice office. This position is a great fit for dependable caregivers who are looking for weekend hours and enjoy providing one-on-one care in a client’s home.
Our weekend caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and supported at home. Care may include personal care, companionship, mobility support, meal preparation, dementia support, light housekeeping, and other non-medical assistance based on the client’s care plan.
We are currently seeking caregivers with Saturday and/or Sunday availability.
- Short morning or evening visits
- 4–6 hour shifts
- Extended day shifts
- Overnight shifts
