ComForCare Home Care in the Tri-Valley area is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides to provide non-medical in-home care to seniors and individuals with disabilities across Alameda County, including Pleasanton, Dublin and Livermore. Weekend evening shifts are guaranteed 7pm–11pm with a minimum of 4 hours; additional weekday shifts may be available.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability is required.
• California Home Care Aide registration or willingness to obtain before hire.
• Reliable transportation to travel anywhere in Alameda County.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (bilingual is a plus).
• Experience in caregiving, home care, CNA, or personal care.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers as needed.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with errands, shopping, and transportation.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate service documentation.

Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Home Care Aides (HCAs) to provide non-medical in‑home care services to seniors, adults, and children with disabilities throughout Alameda County over the weekends.

Guaranteed Hours between 7pm and 11pm Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday. Shifts are a minimum of 4 hours with many more shifts available. Weekday shifts also available.

Qualifications/ Requirements

• -Weekend availability
• -California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or willingness to obtain registration before hire
• -Reliable transportation, requirement to travel anywhere in Alameda County
• -Ability to communicate effectively in English (bilingual is a plus)
• -Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, or personal care experience
• -CPR and First Aid certification, or willingess to obtain
• -Experience supporting individuals with dementia
• -Authorized to work in the United States

Compensation

• -All hours spent working with clients are paid at $22-25 /hr based on experience-All non‑working on‑call hours are paid at $16.90 /hr, this is optional
