Job summary

Actikare is seeking compassionate caregivers, CNAs, or HCAs to join our team in Bothell for weekend shifts. A licensed and insured driver is required to ensure transportation to clients’ appointments and activities.

You will provide companionship, assist with mobility and daily living tasks, help with light housekeeping, and report concerns. We offer competitive pay, benefits, flexible hours, and ongoing training for career growth. Background checks and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington or enrollment in a training program.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass background and fingerprint checks.
• Ability to read/write and follow directions in English; US work authorization required.
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and compassionate bedside manner.
• Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to complete required caregiving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and daily living tasks.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Prepare for clients and report any incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family.

Actikare Responsive In Home Care is actively seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers, CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants), or HCAs (Home Care Aides) with experience caring for seniors to join our award-winning team. Caregiver Compensation and Benefits:

Caregiver / Home Care Aid (HCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements:

• ActiveCNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington - or proof of completion or current enrollment in training program
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
