Job summary

Senior Helpers - North OC is seeking compassionate caregivers for a male client, with weekend shifts (8 AM–4 PM on Saturdays and Sundays). You will assist with meals, transportation to outings, medication reminders, and light housekeeping, while delivering companionship and safety within the client’s home.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a Home Care Aid License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No professional experience required; family or caregiver experience accepted.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.
• Background checks and drug screenings required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Able to communicate with office staff, clients, and other caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and social interaction to promote emotional well-being.
• Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
• Medication reminders and routine management.
• Mobility support and safe transfer assistance.
• Document client information and progress notes.
