Mentor Community Services, a Sevita family partner, is seeking a part-time weekend caregiver in Carbondale, IL. You’ll support individuals with developmental needs, help with daily living, and foster independence.

The role offers a stable schedule, weekend shifts from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and a competitive pay rate of $19.45 per hour. You’ll build real relationships, gain meaningful experience, and be part of a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and support participants with complex needs.
• Help participants engage in community activities.
• Develop relationships and support participants' goals.
• Provide compassionate, patient care to participants.
