Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Part-Time Caregiver reporting to the Health & Wellness Director. The caregiver position is non-exempt, hourly, and scheduled weekends and/or every other weekend.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, maintaining safety and confidentiality, and documenting services. CNA or CHHA certification is preferred, with experience with the elderly population and dementia exposure considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide required.
• Experience with elderly population; dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding as per care plans.
• Maintain safety, dignity, and confidentiality of residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities and ensure they are clean, dressed, and fed during shifts.
• Document services provided during the shift and report any changes to supervisor.
