Job summary

Continuum is seeking a skilled, compassionate PRN Caregiver to support a female client in her home on weekends. The role covers two 12-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with a focus on personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, and companionship.

You will work with a care team and family to maintain a safe, comfortable home environment for the client. The ideal candidate is experienced with mobility-impaired clients, comfortable with dogs, dependable, and able to pass

Qualifications

• Experience with mobility-impaired clients is required.
• Strong gait belt/transfer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and hygiene.
• Perform gait belt pivot transfers safely.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and safety monitoring.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping (vacuuming, bed-making, tidying).
• Respond to client requests for help; assist with household tasks as needed.
• Provide companionship and maintain a calm, supportive environment.
• Communicate clearly with family and care team.
• Comfortable assisting in a home with dogs.

Continuum is looking for a skilled, compassionate PRN Caregiver to support a female client in her home. This is an every-weekend position covering two 12-hour day shifts. The ideal candidate is confident with hands-on care, proactive with housekeeping, and comfortable working in a home with dogs.

Weekend Caregiver Schedule

• Every weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday)

• 12-hour day shifts: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Weekend Caregiver Responsibilities

• Provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and hygiene

• Perform gait belt pivot transfers safely

• Assist with mobility, positioning, and safety monitoring

• Prepare meals (client may occasionally choose to cook) and assist with feeding if needed

• Perform light housekeeping (vacuuming, bed-making, tidying, etc.)

• Respond appropriately to client requests for help; assisting with household tasks is required

• Provide companionship and maintain a calm, supportive environment

• Communicate clearly with family and care team

• Comfortable assisting in a home with dogs

Weekend Caregiver Requirements

• Dependable, flexible, and professional

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts
