Job summary

Always Family HomeCare is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support an elderly client in McLean, VA on weekends. Shifts are 8am-2pm on Saturday and Sunday, with a pay rate starting at $18 per hour. Benefits include time and a half on major holidays, and bonuses for referring caregivers and clients.

Access scheduling, payments, and shift-notes electronically via smartphone. Work from the client’s home and build meaningful relationships to improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Experience: One year of experience as a Caregiver. CNA is highly desirable.
• Requirements: Authorized to work in the United States
• Background check and drug screen
• Current Driver's License
• Current TB test
• COVID-19 and flu Immunizations

Responsibilities

• Follows the instructions of the RN Supervisor in providing personal assistance services.
• Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.
• Assist with food preparation; serve food, performs errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes.
• Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client's home or any significant observations regarding the client.
• Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees.
• Report client complaints to the RN Supervisor.
• Report abnormal findings in client's conditions as observed and per care plan to RN.
