Job summary

TheKey is seeking weekend caregivers in Columbus, Ohio to provide compassionate in-home support and build a meaningful career. Pay starts at $18.00 per hour with flexible weekend schedules and weekly pay.

You will assist with personal care, transportation, companionship, and light housekeeping, while maintaining a respectful and patient approach. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of caregiving experience, a valid driver’s license, and are at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with access to a fully insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Cognitive & behavior support: providing gentle reminders, redirection, and structure to reduce confusion and anxiety
• Personal care: assisting with dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meals with respect and patience
• Home safety & housekeeping: maintaining a calm, familiar, organized environment with basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
• Transportation: driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping
• Companionship: offering conversation, music, memory games, or sensory activities tailored to cognitive needs
