Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive and behavioral support, including gentle reminders, redirection, and structure to reduce confusion and anxiety
• Assist with personal care: dressing, grooming, hygiene and meals with respect and patience
• Maintain home safety and housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organization to keep the environment calm and familiar
• Transport clients to appointments, run errands and shop for groceries
• Offer companionship through conversation, music, memory games, and sensory activities tailored to cognitive needs

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
• At least 18 years of age
• Must have Hoyer lift experience
• Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle
• Must be pet friendly (dog)
