Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare Franchising, LLC is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in‑home support for seniors in Alpharetta and nearby areas. You will offer companionship, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and safe transport, delivering patient, life‑affirming care in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of caregiving experience preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Pass a background check
• CPR certification and willingness to obtain TB test if needed
• CNA license or PCA test on site
• Valid driver’s license or ID

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage seniors in activities
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Prepare snacks and meals for clients
• Encourage light exercise and mobility
• Tidy up the home and maintain a safe environment
• Transport clients to appointments or social activities
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and SYNERGY staff
• Be punctual and reliably cover assigned shifts

Responsibilities:

• Companionshipto seniors engaging in activities and games
• Personal Care Assistancewith daily activities such as: medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Preparingsnacks and meals to help sustain and satisfy the client throughout your scheduled time with them
• Encouraginglight exercise to keep the client active and physically moving
• Tidyingup the house and keeping the home environment neat and enjoyable for the client
• Transportingthe client to nearby appointments or engagements, assisting with running errands, taking your client to social activities, doctor's appointments, or events with their family and friends
• Establishing a solid line of communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and SYNERGY office staff
• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts

Requirements:

• 1+ years of prior caregiving experience (preferred but not essential)
• Reliable transportation
• Pass a background check
• Must have or be willing to acquire the following:
• CPR Certification
• A Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Test
• CNA LicenseOR pass a PCA Test (provided on site)
• A valid driver’s license or ID
