Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare NW Atlanta seeks compassionate caregivers to build meaningful relationships with clients at home. You’ll support daily functions, from meal prep to mobility, and enhance clients’ quality of life.

No formal experience required, training is provided, and a driver’s license with reliable transportation is preferred. Opportunities for flexible scheduling and growth are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Experience is not required but willingness to learn is valued.
• Candidates should be compassionate, social, trustworthy and service-minded.
• Self-motivation and willingness to learn are important in this autonomous role.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred; background checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engaging activities for seniors.
• Assist with daily activities: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility.
• Prepare snacks and meals for clients.
• Encourage light exercise and physical activity.
• Keep the home tidy and safe for the client.
• Transport clients to appointments and social activities.

Responsibilities:

• Companionshipto seniors with engaging activities and games
• Helpingwith daily activities like bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Preparingsnacks and meals to help sustain and satisfy the client throughout your scheduled time with them.
• Encouraginglight exercise to keep the client active and physically moving.
• Tidyingup the house that keep the home environment neat and enjoyable for the client.
• Transportingthe client to nearby appointments or engagements. Take the clients to social activities, doctor's offices, and events in the community or with family and friends.

Requirements:

• Experience- We'd love if you've prior experience, but you don't have to. If you are willing to learn, we'll train you
• Skills- We're looking for individuals that are compassionate, social, trustworthy, and service-minded
• Characteristics- This is an autonomous position, so We're looking for individuals that are self-motivated and willing to learn
• Have or willing to acquire CPR/First Aid certification and evidence of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) test
• Georgia Background Check Program / Fingerprinting
• A valid driver's license and means of transportation (a reliable car with proof of insurance/registration is preferred)
