Job summary

Brookville Center for Children's Services seeks a Direct Support Professional for the AHRC East Norwich location, Saturdays and Sundays 7:00 am–3:00 pm (16 hours per week). This part-time role supports residents in Community Living Services to ensure a high quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with self-care routines, health and safety, household tasks, socialization, and overall well-being; you will help maintain the agency’s mission in every interaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must submit a valid NYS driver's license, and maintain a qualified driver status throughout employment.
• Must have the ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives/information

Responsibilities

• Practice and promote the agency’s mission statement and guiding principles in every interaction.
• Provide ongoing support to the people that live in the Community Living Services program to ensure that a high quality of life is maintained.
• Provide support in the areas of, for example, self-care routines, health, safety, household chores, socialization, and overall well-being.
