Job summary

The Tremont Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Wareham, MA is hiring a Weekend Smoking Attendant to join our care team. The 8a-4p shift covers Saturdays and Sundays with weekly pay at $16 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with smoking tasks, keeping the area clean, and ensuring safety during transport to and from the smoking area. On-the-job training is provided, and English language proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions and interact tactfully with residents, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with smoking, lighting materials, and transporting them to and from the designated smoking area.
• Maintain a clean designated smoking area for residents.
• Transport residents to and from the smoking area, ensuring safety.
• Demonstrate safety techniques and respect for facility equipment and supplies.
• Support effective communication and a positive working environment.
