Job summary

Elon University is seeking a part-time custodian to support weekend cleaning on the Elon Campus. The role covers residential housing, academic buildings, athletic facilities and dining locations with Saturday and Sunday shifts totaling 6 hours per weekend.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be physically able to perform cleaning tasks, follow safety guidelines, and communicate effectively with campus staff. Training and a benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with less than 1 year of experience.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of campus buildings and facilities.
• Clean bathrooms, sanitize surfaces and restrooms.
• Operate cleaning equipment and monitor supply inventories.
• Follow safety procedures and use of chemicals.
• Attend required annual training and support campus events.
