Job summary

Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas is seeking a Weekend Camp Operations Assistant for Camp Bette Perot in Palestine, TX. The role supports weekend operations between camp sessions, handles checkout, transports staff, and ensures the camp is organized and ready for the next session.

The position runs from early June through late July 2027 and requires a valid driver’s license and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and meet GSNETX driving record & insurance requirements.
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in variable weather conditions.
• Ability to work long hours all day and all week with occasional overnight emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Champion a positive, inclusive, caring, safe and fun camp environment.
• Assist with weekly program operations as needed.
• Assist with coordination of response for any emergencies that arise.
• Practice all safety standards on camp property.
• Organize the camp office and operational materials for counselors and leadership staff.
