Job summary

The Sage Santa Fe is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to set up, maintain, and break down the complimentary breakfast area. You will ensure a clean, well-stocked, and welcoming experience for guests, while upholding food safety, quality, and hotel brand standards.

Early morning shifts (6:00am–11:00am) with weekend/holiday coverage, requiring a high school diploma and food handling knowledge. Prior hospitality or customer service experience is preferred; certification can be obtained if needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous food service, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and break down the breakfast area according to hotel standards
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and presentation at all times
• Stock, replenish, and monitor breakfast items throughout service to ensure availability and freshness
• Break down breakfast area after service and prepare space for daily operations
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to breakfast service
• Adhere to all food handling, sanitation, and health department regulations
• Monitor food temperatures and quality throughout service
• Greet guests in a courteous, welcoming manner and assist with breakfast-related questions
• Act as a brand ambassador for The Sage by delivering approachable, value-driven service
• Coordinate with Front Desk and management regarding guest flow or special needs
