Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to warmly welcome guests in the breakfast and lobby areas. You will set up and maintain the breakfast bar, prepare items, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are followed.

Weekend and early-morning availability is required. Training will be provided, and there is potential for a responsive team environment with opportunities to handle guest concerns and contribute to overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Weekend and early-morning availability are required.
• Training will be provided; no prior hotel or food-service experience required.
• Customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, management, and coworkers.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, greet, and interact professionally with guests in breakfast and lobby areas.
• Set up, maintain, replenish, and break down the breakfast bar.
• Prepare and serve designated breakfast items according to quality and food-safety standards.
• Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and quality throughout assigned areas.
• Follow hotel safety, security, food-handling, maintenance, and cleaning procedures.
• Assist with inventories as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
