Responsibilities

• Make daily assignments for CNAs.
• Perform treatments as necessary.
• Electronic charting.
• Serve as Charge Nurse when required.
• Perform routine staff nurse duties.
• Respond to requests from Director of Nursing/Assistant Director of Nursing/Unit Manager.
• Adhere to standards and maintain quality of care.
• Weekend shifts: Saturday-Sunday 7P-7A, plus one 11P-7A during the week; work 32 hours, paid for 44 hours.

Nurse Qualifications:

The RN/LPN must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and maintain current RN or LPN license with the SC State Board of Nursing. Candidate must be in good physical and mental condition, demonstrate leadership ability, and be able to work with all levels of personnel. Utilize professional nursing knowledge and skills. Ensure safe implementation of basic therapeutic and rehabilitative nursing care of assigned residents.

Nurse Duties:

• Carry out resident care plans.
• Admission and discharge--make observations of skin condition, mental condition, etc.
• Administer medications as ordered.
• Administer IV fluids and draw blood for lab work, as ordered.
