Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare is seeking a Weekend Baylor Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents on weekends. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, document care, and collaborate with nurses to ensure safety and comfort.

Cette position offers a Baylor program: get paid for 40 hours while working 32, plus weekend stability and benefits eligibility where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to provide exceptional care while treating every resident with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Help residents safely transfer, ambulate, and reposition to promote comfort.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and nutritional support.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Document care provided according to facility policies.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families through compassionate care.
• Work with nurses and the healthcare team to provide exceptional resident care.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and resident rights standards.
