Job summary

Emerald-Nursing- in Lincoln, Nebraska invites a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Nursing Department. As part of the Baylor Program, you will provide high-quality resident care, support daily living activities, and help maintain comfort, safety, and well-being.

This full-time weekend role covers every Sat and Sun, 6:30am–10:30pm, totaling 32 hours with pay for 40. You will document care in electronic health records, monitor vital signs, assist with mobility, feeding, and

• CNA certification required in Nebraska.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a clinical healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.

• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.

• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.

• Communication: Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.

• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.

• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.

• Certifications: Current CNA certification in Nebraska required.
